EMAE has three ferries, in three different crossing points, starting from the Billings Reservoir. The ferry system is free of charge, and has operators working at three different hours, so that the crossing is available to the community 24 hours, everyday. The Borore Ferry leaves the district of Grajau, in the south zone of the Capital, and goes to the Borore Island. From the Borore Island, the Taquacetuba Ferry goes to Sao Bernardo do Campo. The João Basso Ferry transports the largest number of passengers, and docks at Riacho Grande, also in Sao Bernardo do Campo.
